Phillip Meeks

A native of the Southeast, Phil Meeks attended and earned a degree in 1984 from Auburn University in Industrial and Operations Management.

During several supervisory assignments in manufacturing operations, Mr. Meeks applied technical solutions toward continuous improvements in production scheduling, fabrication, assembly, inventory control, and product design.

While in manufacturing, Mr. Meeks helped to automate production scheduling systems. He also developed an engineering drawing management system for AutoCAD, and programmed many utilities to improve the efficiency and accuracy of CAD operations.

Mr. Meeks came to Charlotte, NC in 1997 and assumed a consulting role in the banking and electronics industries. Major projects included a PC-based energy management system, and an intelligent forms application for a major bank. He also served as a consultant to the Credit Policy and International Trade divisions at the banks.

In 1999, Mr. Meeks assumed a project management position as head of business solutions for a Charlotte consulting firm. In that role, he conceived, architected, and led the development of a 1000-node financial services transaction system.

He has international business experience gained from activities throughout the United States, Mexico, Central America, Europe, and the Middle East.

In early 2004, Mr. Meeks started Productive Technology, LLC, an information technology services company dedicated to helping companies become more productive by aligning business processes and information systems.

A graduate of numerous technical training seminars, Mr. Meeks is a Microsoft Certified Professional, and is a member of the Union County, NC Chamber of Commerce.
